This 2012
0January is almost over, and I haven’t published anything about my goals for 2012. I actually had my draft, but the start of the year seems awesome that I didn’t have much time catering my blogpost.
Just this evening, I came through this picture (credits to the one who upload/created this) and grab my attention. This is just what I am venturing into this 2012. I would to see myself in a more serene, more stable, more simple life anyone could ever imagine. This will be a challenge for me.

Fake Birthday What About?
3Another fake natal year has ended, and a number of friends, relatives, and even close friends greeted me. There are few who responded, yes another “pa-pampam” (a person who get’s an attention) day for you again, others call it poser day but who are they to tell me that? Is it bad to change your birth date? Is it a kid’s act who’s looking for nice attention? I just laughed out loud and say, well it is not. I even had a “friend” who deleted me soon as she knew that I wasn’t really celebrating my birthday which for me it is unprofessional knowing that she’s alot older than me. Anyway. Tell you I’ve been doing this for three years now and I’ve been successful in disguise.
I must say the world is changing really, people seems to get the hang of social media specially Facebook. I won’t be surprise if this addiction will turn to disorder, and eventually be an illness, like this or this. We are so attached to social media that we don’t mind about our health and even true friends. There’s a saying, from every rise there’s a fall. In this, from the rise of the internet is the fall of physical relationship. We are starting to move out of what our fathers and great grand father once had, physical connection. But let me get back to my topic, why do I disguise?
Reason
One and only reason for a fake birthday is the disguise. Few knew my birthday, and well yes only FEW. I don’t even know why I’ve seen a close friend greeted me, is it amnesia or something but hell no. We’ve been together for a handful of years, and here saw a greeting.
Hoax birthday is made to check who’s really into you, and if they knew they’re really part of your life. I guess I’m pretty successful in this field, to test. Another, government records require you to state your birth date for validation, you even need birth certificate to validate that you are who you are. So I believe stating your public information in the wild may place your sensitive information harm so better yet protect it. I’m just protecting some of my personal information online.
Wish-least
1Dear Mom/Dad (and to my Santa Claus this Christmas) (and a Godfather on my birthday)
I’m writing this early to express what I want for Christmas (and on my natal day), hope you read them in time. I have written you before and have enclosed my specific wish list. I’m saddened that most of my wishes have been overlooked. Aside from having you, and our family complete are some piece of material treasures present here on earth that this very year.
You always knew that I am the type of son/guy that is hushed, not the archetypal kid/son/guy that I enlist all I yearn for. With this simple post I wrote, will help you decide what’s best to confer this Christmas.
All I want for Christmas (and on my Birthday) are:
1. Silver plated / Luminous Rosary
I acquired a luminous rosary when I was in 4th year Highschool when Fr. Vester gave us on our retreat which came from Italy. I had to leave the rosary at my purse for the string that binds then was broken. As a child that was raised in an all boys Catholic school
, this has been part of our Bosconian virtue. For a true Bosconian in character will never ever leave the house without his rosary on his side.
2. Mac Book Pro
I’ve been drooling over this girl for the past 4 years now. It’s been part of my yearly wish-least, never failed to be scrapped off. I considered buying this year however I got my pointed fingers back because of its price.
3. Tablet
I am considering tablet as my 3rd wish for a fact that I crave for a new girlfriend that will be right beside be wherever I go. I don’t care about whether it is an iPad, or a Samsung Galaxy Tab, a Nook, or an Archos. Given it runs on iOS and or Android OS its good to go.
4. Wide Angle Lens (Nikkor, Tokina, Sigma) / Zoom Lens
AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II LD Aspherical (IF) – Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens (TAMRON)
AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G
I’m taking my time looking at these two spec lenses, waiting for their price to depreciate so as their value as a lens will depreciate as well.
5. Rayban Aviator
Recently acquired a pair of sunglasses, a sporty model successor of this Aviator shades by Rayban. Nothing beats the Aves.
6. HTC Mobile Phone
Currently, I oozed in this HTC Desire S2 that is out in the market. If I am not going to get a tablet this year, I opt to get a phone. I prefer a QWERTY keys, full packed mobile phone. One that has a vivid camera, wi-fi, preferably Android OS.
7. Jackets
Did I mention I love jackets? Not just jackets but t-shirts as well. Before we get into tees, we first get into jackets. I love the Adidas Philippine-themed jacket they (Adidas) have released this year. I love wears that are fitted, because I’m a bit skinny.
8. Project Management Book
A book by Kathy Schwalbe 6th edition Information Technology Project Management book. I’ll be using it as my review book for my dream certification, Project Management Professional (PMP).
9. Earphones
There is a difference between an earpiece and an earphone. Earpiece are the in-ear type or the typical two-piece speaker while an earphone are the one piece DJ-type of speaker. If you’re going to ask me what kind of earphone I love to have, I’ll point you to the top brands right now, those are Bose and Monster. I am very particular about the crisp and bounce of the sound an earphone emits. Before slahing your creditcard/debitcard, you may check out the sounds by testing it to Blame It – Jamie Foxx or the Dirty Bit – Blackeyed peas. I usually test my ‘phones on those tracks.
10. Polaroid Camera – Click!
I am going to disclaim, I’m not for the Hello Kitty Polaroid jig, I’m for the Piano Black and the White Fuji Instax Mini. Just a go through trivia about Polaroid. Polaroid is a denoting a type of camera with internal processing that produces a finished print rapidly after each exposure. Polaroid was invented by Edwin H. Land, U.S.
It is said that Land 1st started thinking about the Polaroid camera when his young daughter wanted to see pictures he had just snapped of her. The idea that she would have to wait days for them to be developed upset her so that he wondered why there couldn’t be a technique for snapping them and, very shortly thereafter, showing them to the subject.
11.Books
I’m fond of reading books, JUST NOW! Thank God for this sudden change. Right now, I’m checking this book over Powerbooks and I guess it’s a good read. Book is entitled Fierce Leadership by Susan Scott. I waste my time reading Malcolm Gladwell book Tipping point, expecting to expand my arsenal of Malcolm Gladwell books. Also, if you;re with me into hacking I have this book that my IT Security professor mentioned in class, I love to have a copy of that book, written/published by Honeynet and also any Martin Fowler book.
12. T-shirt
As I have mentioned, I’m fond of having myself dressed on tees. But I am very particular with the designs I’m stating/wearing. Links to my favorite shops are on my Felice page.
13. Board/Card Games
When I was a child, I’ve been dreaming of having a Millionaires Game that my cousin have. Until now, that’s still on my back pack of hopes that one day I’ll own/have mine. A month ago I had a chance to visit Toy Kingdom and saw couple of game cards like Monopoly Deal Card, Cranium, and some other Hasbro card products. One thing I say, I waaaaaant!
14. Die cast cars
Not so long ago, I’ve been into car collection. Not the real one but the small ones, die-cast models. I remember when Glorietta 2 is still a structure, you can usually see me on Toy Town looking for new sets of Tomika cars. Sadly, I lost them after. So, that would be my 14th wish.
15. Inkling by Wacom
Whether it is true or not, I want this
16. Calligraphy Pen
I believe nobody or a few knows that I’m into arts specifically into graphics and letters. That I am from a family of artist, and I guess it is instilled in my blood the art of making letters. That’s why I humbly ask for this.
If you’re going to ask where can you purchase one, you may go to Powerbooks Greenbelt 3 in Makati City and you’ll see a wide array of calligraphy pens. 595 pesos to 2,000 pesos.
17. Military Mens Jacket
My Chemical Romanceis one of my favorite band of all time. And in fact, I’m collecting their album as well. (let me plug it as well) I have their Welcome to the Black Parade album.. Helena album please! and the latest one.

18. Any travel related stuff you can see on ROX (The Fort)
What About?
I see to it that I update my Felice page frequently, soon as I thought of things to be published. Frequently check that page as well.
Right now, there are several band names, and songs I love to hear. I also include Jason’s website there which I admire his works.
Love,
Bluestella
